This series aims to explore a very personal vision of my past, exploring places I've been to and past history through my eyes as I would physically have seen it in my youth looking only through my right eye.
Having been born with strabismus and legally blind in my right eye, my childhood activities, though very joyful, were also filled with eye exercises some of which included wearing an eye patch over my left eye with the aim of forcing better vision from my right. Eventually, the sight in my right eye was recovered somewhat, my vision remained blurry and my two eyes never converged.
Pieces range in size from 20" x 30" to 40" x 40".
