Artist's Statement:
Urban Views are diptychs or triptychs of "still life" I "collect" while walking through different neighborhoods. The bottom eight are details from New York City series. (Linking to the first one, will enable the viewing of the entire image.) One of the reasons I became a photographer is the fact that photography provides an excuse to "wander". This series is directly linked to my need to wander, contemplate and document that which catches my attention while on casual walks with my camera. This series is on going. The top two images are the latest ones from this year. More to come....
